Yes. The apps and themes live alongside the factory software. We can take it back to stock, and nothing in the engine computer is touched by the coding itself.
It doesn't change your tune at all; it reads data from the DME and shows it. As with any modification, a dealer can take a position on warranty, so if your car is still under factory coverage, ask us first and we'll be straight with you.
iDrive 7 (MGU) and iDrive 8 G-series BMWs, including the G80/G82/G87 M cars, G20/G22, G29 Z4 and the X-series. A90 Supra and F-series cars with the NBT EVO unit are on the way; text us and we'll tell you where it stands for your car.
No. The cluster, HUD and gauges read the car's own sensors on stock or tuned cars. The MHD control app only applies if you run MHD.

About an hour in most cases, in the shop or remote. Remote sessions are scheduled with a buffer so nobody is rushed.
A full head-unit reflash by the dealer can remove the apps. If that happens, we put them back; the reinstall is quick and we don't charge full price for it.
